Safety Matters
Do not operate a personal watercraft while under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Alcohol can affect a person in many ways. It can cause slower physical reaction times, and impaired judgment, and is a factor in most boating accidents. Do not operate your PWC with "tunnel vision", always glance to the left and right to check for other boaters approaching. Always operate your PWC in a safe and responsible manner. Use common sense when operating your PWC. Your actions reflect on ALL PWC operators. Stay clear of all swimmers and persons floating on rafts or tubes. Check with local authorities regarding hazardous areas and areas that are closed to PWC's or boats. |
