Emergency Vessels

Just as in your car, yield to vessels and persons responding to emergency situations. Coast Guard personnel, law enforcement officers, lifeguards, and other emergency rescue teams have the right of way over all other watercraft when responding to an emergency. They can be recognized by a distinct flashing blue light on their craft.
