PWCSafetySchool.com is a free, NASBLA and Hawai`i State Division of Boating and Ocean Recreation (DOBOR) approved, boater education Internet course. It is the first step in the Kanalu K38 training program for operating a PWC in the State of Hawaii. The PWC owner/operator must also complete the classroom and practical portions of the Kanalu K38 program to be fully certified and legally operate a PWC in Hawaii. Following completion of the PWCSafetySchool.com course you will be provided a downloadable PWCSafetySchool.com certificate of completion number necessary to complete the process for the Hawai`i Boater Education Card. You will need both of these – PWCSS & HBEC – to register for the practical courses offered by KANALU K38. Click on the link for KANALU K38 and fill out the application form provided. Be sure to include your PWCSS number to receive your printable HBEC card after the online payment process is completed. You may also send a completed COPY of the application form and a $15.00 fee (check or money order) to: ANALU K38
