Please Note: In the Commonwealth of Massachusetts it is illegal for persons under 16 years of age to operate a personal watercraft. 16 and 17 year olds must possess a Massachusetts Boater Safety Certificate. The certificate may only be obtained by passing a state proctored exam from any approved Massachusetts Boating Course Provider. Those 17 years of age or younger will NOT be sent a PWCSafetySchool.com certificate. However, PWCSafetySchool.com is an approved Massachusetts Boating Course Provider. Upon successful completion of this course you will be able to print out a downloadable Massachusetts Safety Certificate application. You will still have to pass a proctored exam from any approved Massachusetts Boating Course Provider to receive your certificate. Present a completed application to the Massachusetts Environmental Police to schedule a proctored exam. To schedule a proctored exam or for more information call: (508) 759-0002 or fax (508) 759-3357. Faxed registration forms are acceptable. For those 18 years of age or older a PWCSafetySchool.com certificate meets Massachusetts boater education requirements. For those 17 years of age or younger, you must still take a proctored exam to complete the boater education process. For those 18 years of age and older, Massachusetts does not issue a boater education certificate. Please keep this certificate on your vessel in a water-proof container as evidence you have completed this course. Key Contacts :
